Bigg Boss Telugu 9, hosted by superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni, is only two weeks into its run and has already become one of the most talked-about shows on Telugu television. This season has introduced a unique format that has quickly grabbed attention—pitting celebrities against commoners. The six commoners, who entered through the Agnipariksha round, have been positioned as “owners,” while the celebrities are playing the role of “tenants.” This refreshing concept has set the stage for new dynamics, rivalries, and dramatic twists inside the Bigg Boss house.
The season kicked off with unexpected turns, and in the very first week, Shrasti Verma’s elimination shocked many viewers. Her eviction sparked debates online, as she was considered one of the promising contestants. Following her exit, fans were eagerly awaiting to see who would be the second contestant to leave the house in Week 2.
As expected, the nomination process in week two was intense. A total of seven contestants were put up for elimination. The nominated participants were:
Bharani Shankar
Flora Saini
Priya Shetty
Maryada Manish
Suman Shetty
Demon Pavan
Haritha Harish
Adding an extra twist, Suman Shetty was directly nominated by ex-captain Sanjana Galrani, who exercised her special power to put him at risk. This move fueled heated discussions among housemates and made the battle for survival even more competitive.
In the much-anticipated second weekend ka vaar episode, host Nagarjuna revealed that Maryada Manish has been eliminated from Bigg Boss Telugu 9. His eviction marks the first time a commoner contestant has exited this season.
Initially, Manish had gained popularity as a spirited commoner entrant through the Agnipariksha stage. However, as days progressed, his behavior came under scrutiny. Viewers criticized him for “overacting” and failing to build strong connections with his fellow contestants. Ultimately, this reflected in the voting results, leading to his elimination.
According to reports, Maryada Manish was paid ₹20,000 per day and about ₹1.4 lakh per week for his participation. Since he managed to stay in the house for 15 days, his total earnings from Bigg Boss Telugu 9 add up to nearly ₹3 lakhs.
While some fans expressed shock over Manish’s exit, many on social media felt it was expected due to his inconsistent performances in tasks. Discussions suggest that his journey, though short-lived, has highlighted how unpredictable the Bigg Boss format can be.
With Maryada Manish’s eviction, the competition is now fiercer than ever. As celebrities and commoners continue to clash, viewers can look forward to more drama, alliances, and power-packed tasks in the coming weeks.
