It’s believed that in-home conditions it is more difficult to concentrate on work: then the couch will lure you to sit on it, then the bed will force you to lie down. Here is how to properly organize your home office, so as not to lose concentration and at the same time to create an anti-stress environment for work.

If There Is no Separate Room

If your living space does not have such a luxury as a separate office, you can organize a workplace in a bedroom or living room. Functional zoning is helpful, as it will allow you to forget about things you enjoy but shouldn’t do while working, like playing at cassino online confiável or chatting with pals. A decorative partition or a shelving unit will provide a sense of privacy. Open shelving will not visually clutter the interior and at the same time can be used for its intended purpose: it can hold books, folders with working documents, decor and stationery.

Another option for ergonomically integrating an “office” into the living room interior is to place the workplace behind the sofa.

To save usable space and visual space, you can refuse a full desk in favor of a hanging console.

A creative option is to turn the window sill into a tabletop. Quite a popular solution is to organize a workplace on a balcony, where good access to daylight and fresh air will promote productivity.

Space Organization

Your work desk can be anything: a solid wood solid wood or minimalistic hanging desk, a standard office desk or a rarity vintage desk. The main thing is that the work surface should be to your liking, in the literal sense – for the comfort of your back, the height of the table top should match your height.

People whose height does not exceed 180 centimeters are “prescribed” the standard table height – 75 centimeters, high workers should place the tabletop a few centimeters higher. To calculate the ideal height of the tabletop, use the formula: your height * 75 cm / 175 cm.

If the desk is used by several family members of different height, a chair with adjustable height would solve the problem.

In order not to clutter up your workspace, organize your space. You can hide work papers, stationery and even charging “stations” for gadgets in the drawers.

Documents and useful little things can be integrated into the interior, placing them on open shelves in folders, decorative boxes, baskets and even glass jars.

A convenient solution is wall holders, organizers, cork, and magnetic boards, with the help of which over the workplace you can place important notes, calendar, family photos, motivational posters and postcards.

Supporters of minimalist interiors can hide everything unnecessary behind the furniture fronts of closed storage systems, including printers, scanners and other equipment. The most laconic look is cabinets without fittings, which can be “masked” by the color of the walls.

Anti-stress Ambiance

The austere, ascetic look of your office is not a model to follow. At home, you can afford an anti-stress atmosphere. Shades, materials, and decor that evoke associations with wildlife would be the optimal solution.

Provide a place for a desk lamp, the optimal solution for the workplace – LED daylight bulbs.

Live plants, wicker baskets, natural wood, and cork will add a natural flavor to the home office.

The anti-stress blue color, cool mint shade, “sea” and “forest” tones will be a rest for the eyes.

They can be used on a large scale – as the main color of the walls or fragmentarily – to decorate the wall in front of the desk with paint or wallpaper.

If the room suffers from a lack of natural light, it’s worth giving preference to a neutral light finish or a warm natural scenario: sand and sunny shades.
