We’ve known for a long time that Kanye West is crazy.
The rapper’s erratic behavior is the stuff of legend, and he’s been going even more bonkers than ever in recent weeks:
Stalking Kim Kardashian, harassing Pete Davidson, you name it …
But just when we thought Kanye couldn’t get any more unhinged, he veered into full-blown Hitchcockian psycho-thriller territory.
At first glance you might think that what you see above is a photo of Kim Kardashian.
In reality, however, that’s a Kim lookalike named Chaney Jones.
She’s the latest woman to identify herself on Instagram as Kanye’s “muse,” and as you might have guessed, the whole situation is intensely creepy.
Photos of Chaney are like those Magic Eye optical illusions — if you squint hard enough, we swear an image of Kim will emerge.
No one knows exactly what’s going on with West and Jones, but they’ve been spotted together several times, and she’s been his date for at least two of the listening parties he’s hosted for his upcoming Donda 2 album.
They probably receive quite the reaction when they walk into an event together.
They’ve also been seen shopping for clothes, most recently, at a Balenciaga store in Bal Harbour.
That night, Chaney went out wearing a Kim-like all-black ensemble, so it’s safe to assume that Kanye is dressing her, as he does with most of his girlfriends.
We might be inclined to say that it’s just a coincidence that Kanye’s new girlfriend looks just like his ex.
But this isn’t the first time that Kanye has styled one of his post-Kim flings to look like his ex.
You may remember the brief period of time in which Kanye was dating Julia Fox.
Even though they only went out for a few weeks, Ye took Julia on multiple clothes shopping dates, and adopted a noticeably Kim-like look.
“We’ve worn some similar looks. I thought it was cool that she had worn it,” Julia said in a podcast interview at the time.
“It is unfortunate, because women are always being pitted against each other, and there are 10 years of history that they have prior. I don’t want to ever step out of line and speak on something that I have no place speaking on,” she added.
“If anything, I think the conversation should be, wow, it’s amazing to see how heavily influenced Kim was by Kanye.”
Julia attempted to justify the weirdness or laugh it off, but looking back, it’s clear she was a little freaked out.
It was like we were on the Kanye workout plan. We got to work. We were like, ‘OK, we’re gonna do this. If I’m gonna be seen with you, I need to step it up a little bit,’” she said.
“I definitely do need to be nudged a little bit and pushed out of my comfort zone and I love that because I don’t think anyone has been able to succeed in that. ‘Cause I’m stubborn and I’m gonna wear the things that I’m comfortable in.”
So we guess Chaney is Kanye’s latest attempt to turn a grown woman into a Kim clone.
We’d say Kim should be flattered but she’s probably too busy beefing upher security detail.
